چکیده

Recent experiments suggest a multi-component pairing function in Sr2RuO4, which appears to be inconsistent with the absence of an apparent cusp transition temperature (Tc) as uniaxial strain. We show, however, that theoretical Tc for can easily smeared out by spatial inhomogeneity strain, and experimental data reproduced qualitatively percolation model. This shed new light on pairings. then perform thorough group-theoretical classification functions, taking spin-orbit coupling into account. list all 13 types two-component spin-singlet 8 them belonging Eg representation. In particular, we find two intra-orbital pairings representation ($k_xk_z$, $k_yk_z$) are favorable view most existing experiments.

Possible Spin - Singlet Superconductivity in ( TMTSF ) 2 X : Superconducting Transition Temperature in a Magnetic Field

We study the transition temperature Tc(H) of a quasi-one-dimensional (Q1D) superconductivity which is derived from the quantum effect of an electron motion in a strong magnetic field. We calculate Tc(H) of both isotropic and anisotropic superconductivity by taking account of the optimal momentum of the Cooper pairs and the effect of higher harmonic terms along second conducting axis in the tigh...

Classical simulation of two spin - S singlet state correlations involving spin measurements

We give a classical protocol to exactly simulate quantum correlations implied by a spin-s singlet state for the infinite sequence of spins satisfying (2s + 1) = 2n, in the worst-case scenario, where n is a positive integer. The class of measurements we consider here are only those corresponding to spin observables. The required amount of communication is found to be log2d where d = 2s + 1 is th...

Spin Singlet Ordering Suggested by Repulsive Interactions

We consider a correlated wavefunction including particle-hole pairing at half a reciprocal lattice vector for itinerant electrons hopping on a square lattice in two dimensions and subject both to on-site and nearest-neighbor repulsion. We find, within mean field theory, that in a suitable range of parameters there is a tendency toward a novel form of ordering characterized by discrete symmetry ...

The 27 Possible Intrinsic Symmetry Groups of Two-Component Links

We consider the “intrinsic” symmetry group of a two-component link L, defined to be the image Σ(L) of the natural homomorphism from the standard symmetry group MCG(S, L) to the product MCG(S) × MCG(L). This group, first defined by Whitten in 1969, records directly whether L is isotopic to a link L′ obtained from L by permuting components or reversing orientations; it is a subgroup of Γ2, the gr...

A Possible Two-component Structure of the Non-perturbative Pomeron

We propose a QCD-inspired two-component Pomeron form which gives an excellent description of the pp, πp, Kp, γp and γγ total cross-sections. Our fit has a better χ/dof for a smaller number of parameters as compared with the PDG fit. Our 2-Pomeron form is fully compatible with weak Regge exchange-degeneracy, universality, Regge factorization and the generalized vector dominance model. LPNHE 00-0...
